Lucy Dawson

Originally from County Mayo on the west coast of Ireland. I moved to Edinburgh after falling in love with the city while visiting my cousin at university here. I knew I always wanted to pursue a career in healthcare and after exploring different paths, podiatry stood out to me in its crucial role in keeping people active and injury free.

I have a keen interest in MSK problems and Sports Injuries and I hope to further specialise with a Masters degree in podiatric sports medicine. Since joining the team here, I have enjoyed expanding my knowledge and skills to better help my patients.

Outside of work, I enjoy going to the gym, spending time with my friends and exploring the local Scottish coastline. As a keen Ireland rugby fan, it’s great when they come to town to play Scotland in the Six Nations, I will be there wearing my shirt and attempting to drown out Murrayfield with my singing from the stands.
